Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe press belt having a groove-like shape capable of ensuring a void volume under a high nip pressure by press shoe with easy processability without spoiling belt function such as marks caused by the groove, crack resistance and the like and preventing reduction in productivity and suppressing rising cost and improve water squeezing properties from wet paper and felt more than those of the usual products.
SOLUTION: The shoe press belt of this invention is characterized in that, in a belt on which a felt for squeezing water from wet paper is put, the sidewall of a waterway installed between a press roll and a shoe along a felt-side surface of the shoe press belt which is pressed toward the press roll has a curved groove-like shape toward outside.
