This device is provided with a spinner 30, a stator 20, a pressure plate 60 and a face plate 80, capable of stably holding a shower head and equipped with a means for generating a non-pulsing non-deflected spray pattern when the spinner stops and the face plate is oriented at a first position in respect to the pressure plate, a means for generating a non-pulsing deflected spray pattern when the spinner stops and the face plate is oriented at a second position in respect to the pressure plate, a means for generating a pulsing non- deflected spray pattern when the spinner spins and the face plate is oriented at a third position in respect to the pressure plate and a means for generating a pulsing deflected spray pattern when the spinner spins and the face plate is oriented at a fourth position in respect to the pressure plate.
