PURPOSE: To shorten a waiting time at the time of high luminance by using both of a capacitor for driving a bimorph element and a capacitor for emitting flash light charged with outputs from a booster circuit as a power source for driving the bimorph element.

CONSTITUTION: A titled device provides the capacitor C5 for driving the bimorph element and the capacitor C9 for emitting flash light charged with the outputs from the booster circuit. Both of the capacitors C5 and C9 are set as the power sources for impressing a voltage on the bimorph element BI. And a switching circuit C for charging the capacitor C5 for driving the bimorph element preferentially to the capacitor C9 for emitting flash light is provided between the booster circuit B and the capacitor C9 for emitting flash light. Since the capacitor C9 for emitting flash light is charged after charging the capacitor for driving the bimorph element, the waiting time at the time of high luminance can be shortened.
