Title:
アンドロゲン受容体遺伝子に特異的なsiRNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4961549
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

To obtain a clinically applicable siRNA (small interference RNA) targeting an AR (androgen receptor) gene.

The double-stranded siRNA is a double-stranded siRNA that targets an AR gene and is a double-stranded siRNA of 21 bases comprising 19 base pairs and 2 base 3' terminal overhangs or a double-stranded siRNA of blunt end comprising 27 base pairs in which the sequence of the 19 base pairs is a specific sequence and the sequence of the 27 base pairs is a specific sequence. Mediating an AR gene-specific RNAi while avoiding an off-target effect and interferon response, the double-stranded siRNA is clinically applicable and is useful in the field of a therapy and a pharmaceutical composition using an AR as a target molecule, for example, in the field of a therapy and a pharmaceutical composition related to a cancer therapy including prostatic cancer.
