Abstract:
PURPOSE:To satisfactorily compensate a video signal having an omission by using other video signal to exist simultaneously with the video signal, in which the omission is generated, as a luminance signal or a signal close to the luminance signal. CONSTITUTION:Individually from the recording trace, the omitted part of the simultaneous-reproduced video signal is detected by an individual detecting circuit DU. When the detected video signal is the video signal (a color difference signal or red and blue) which is not the luminance signal or the signal (green) close to the luminance signal, the luminance signal or the signal close to the luminance signal is used as the signal in a period corresponding to the omission, and at the time of the close video signal, a luminance signal or a synthesizing signal of all other video signals net close to the luminance signal are used. In such a way, since other video signal to exist simultaneously with the video signal having the omission is used as the luminance signal or the signal close to the luminance signal, a 1H delay is made unnecessary owing to a signal for compensating. Since the signal for compensating is an equal simultaneous video signal based on an equal subject, a satisfactory omission compensation can be easily executed.
