Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that executes a process to correct the output value of a sensor that measures a change of shape of a movable portion of the human body such as a finger without causing a user to be concerned about timing at which to execute the process.SOLUTION: A signal processing unit 20L, provided in a mounting member worn on the hand of a user, successively acquires the output values of strain sensors 12L-1 to 12L-5 from a data glove 10L equipped with the strain sensors 12L-1 to 12L-5 that measure a change of shape of the user's finger. The signal processing unit 20L specifies timing at which the shape of the user's finger goes to a prescribed state (e.g., a hand grabbed state) on the basis of a sound signal from a microphone 30 or motion data from the data glove 10L. The signal processing unit 20L determines a correction value used for correction of the output value on the basis of a difference between a registered value and the strain sensor output value acquired at prescribed timing, and outputs a strain value being corrected by the correction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
