Title:
SIGNAL SOURCE CHARACTERIZING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3887028
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a signal, which characterizes each of primary signals from plural signal sources mixed by linear convolution, with a high precision in a small number of signal calculation processing stages.
CONSTITUTION: A signal source characterizing system 8 starts from a linear convolution mixture E(t) of primary signals X(t) from plural signal sources S1 to Sn and determines a signal F(t) which indicates the estimated value of a characteristic variable of at least one primary signal X(t). This characteristic variable can be the average energy, the spectral density, or the auto correlation function. A preparatory processing means 20 performs preparatory processing of these signals E(t) before signals E(t) from the mixture are supplied to a signal source separation means 10.
