Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive/reproduce information on a desired hierarchy with high quality, without using a highly precise band pass filter and without being affected by interferences on a reception side by providing reception filters before and after the reception orthogonal transformation means of a reception device.
SOLUTION: On the reception side, the reception filter 62 and an I/K down sampling unit 72 are provided between a series/parallel converter 42 and DFT (discrete Fourier transformation) 52. The reception filter 62 and the I/K down sampling unit 72 execute a prescribed sampling processing, and the output is inputted to DFT 52 so as to execute the discrete Fourier transformation. On a transmission side, the signal of the specified hierarchy is inputted to the prescribed signal point of IDFT (in verse DFT) 12, in accordance with the transmission characteristic of the reception filter 62. Thus, a prescribed element can selectively be reproduced in a signal block, constituted of M-pieces (integer) of elements transmitted from a transmission device.
