Title:
SILENCER OF PNEUMATIC IMPACT MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010012588
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silencer of a pneumatic impact machine, achieving good sound-proof effect and excellent exhaust efficiency.

The silencer 20 attached to the pneumatic impact machine 10 has a shell member 21 and a cap member 22. The shell member 21 is arranged to be concentric with a body 11 of the pneumatic impact machine 10. The cap member 22 covers a head portion 11a of the body 11 of the pneumatic impact machine 10. An exhaust inlet chamber 30 is formed between an inner surface of the shell member 21 and an outer circumferential surface 11b of the body of the pneumatic impact machine 10. An exhaust blow-up passage 35 is formed inside the shell member 21. The exhaust blow-up passage 35 extends in an axial X direction toward the cap member 22 from the exhaust inlet chamber 30. A swirl chamber 50 having a spiral swirl circulating portion 51 is formed inside the cap member 22. The swirl circulating portion 51 communicates with the exhaust blow-up passage 35 via an exhaust throttle hole 46.
