Abstract:
To provide a steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties under DC magnetic deviation and in particular used as a material for a particle accelerator.
This silicon steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties has a composition consisting of, b mass, ≤0.005% C, ≤0.2% P, 0.2-3% Si, 0.05-1.5% Mn, ≤2% Al, ≤0.02% (desirably ≤0.0009%) S, ≤0.005% N and the balance essentially Fe or further containing ≤0.005% Ti. The steel sheet has 50-300 μm grain size. Further, it is preferable that the thickness of the steel sheet is 0.35-1 mm.
