To provide a ceramics/metal composite material having continuously changed thermal expansion coefficient by the use of a single material and also to provide it manufacturing method.
The ceramics/metal composite material having continuously changed thermal expansion coefficient is a composite material in which ceramic powder or fiber content is continuously changed from one surface toward the other surface. In the method for manufacturing the ceramics/metal composite material having continuously changed thermal expansion coefficient, the composite material is manufactured by laminating preforms dissimilar in the filling ratio of the ceramic powder or fiber as a reinforcement into a plurality of layers in a descending or ascending order of the filling ratio and then impregnating the laminated preforms with molten aluminum or aluminum alloy at 700-1,000°C.
