Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0619029
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a high-sensitivity silver halide photographic sensitive material exhibiting a high contrast photographic characteristic and without the photographic characteristic being deteriorated even when the emulsion is kept for long term as the soln.

CONSTITUTION: This photographic sensitive material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a substrate. The photosensitive silver halide grains including the plate grains having ≥2 aspect ration in ≥50% of the total projected area of the grains and a polymer shown by the formula by 10-3g to 10g per mol of silver halide are incorporated into at least one emulsion layer. In the formula, A is a repeating unit derived from an ethylenicaly unsaturated monomer having at least one basic nitrogen atom, B is a repeating unit derived from the monmer other than B, (x) and (y) are the wt.% of each component, x=0.1 to 100, and y=0 to 99.9.
