PURPOSE: To provide the photosensitive material improved in adhesion strength between a hydrophilic binder layer and a hydrophobic binder layer both to be used for it and freed of occurrence of wastes and scraps.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive material has silver halide emulsion layers on at least one side of a support, and both of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic binder layers are formed adjacent to each other on at least one side of the support, and at least one of them contains a solvent or a swelling agent for both of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic binders in an amount of 0.01-1000%, of the binder of the binder layer to which the solvent or the agent is added.
