Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain amorphous colorable non-sticky polymer resin particles at the sticking temperature or a temperature higher than that without using an inert particulate substance in a gas phase polymerization by using a specified catalyst.
SOLUTION: There are provided the resin particles each has an outer shell comprising at least 80 wt.% nonsticky polymer comprising 10-90 mol.% ethylene and at least 10 mol.% 3-18C α-olefin and having a flow index of less than 20 decigram/minute, and an inner core comprising at least 90 wt.% sticky polymer and at least 1 wt.% nonsticky polymer. The resin particles are obtained by using the non-sticky prepolymerized catalyst in which the prepolymer portion comprises 10-90 mol.% and at least 10 mol.% 3-18C α-olefin and having a melt flow index of less than 20 decigram/minute, and the ratio of the prepolymer to the catalyst portion is 25:1 to 1,000:1 in the presence of hydrogen in a gas phase fluidized bed.
