The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has, on one side of a support, an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder and a surface protective layer disposed applied to the image forming layer, and has a back-side protective layer on a side (back side) of the support located opposite to the side with the image forming layer, wherein the binder component of the surface protective layer is polycarbonate.
