Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple processing unit which can cope with a design change of a work even if it occurs, has a wide adjustable range of rotation speed of a rotating tool, and allows quick and easy change of a processing tool.
SOLUTION: This unit consists of a main spindle part S which has an interlocking mechanism to a rotation driving source at a back end of a main spindle 2 to whose tip a rotating tool is attached on an electric motor part M which incorporates an electric motor and which has a rotating shaft that a main gear meshing with the interlocking mechanism of the main spindle part S is attached on, and a flanged joint part F which is arranged between the main shaft part S and the electric motor part M and performs coupling between them S, M so as to be separable.
