Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple roof capable of enhancing sealability without impairing the assembling property of a ridge part, and a windbreak room therewith.
SOLUTION: The simple roof 1 of the principal rafter type, with one ridge- pointed end attached to the frame W of a building, comprises a ridge member 6 with the ridge side ends of a plurality of rafters 2 and 4 secured thereto; a ridge capping member 7 covering the top of the ridge member 6 from above; and a connector 8 interposed between the ridge member 6 and the ridge capping member 7 for securing the ridge capping member 7 to the ridge member 6. The connector 8 consists of a plurality of connector pieces 8A which are independent of the ridge member 6 and the ridge capping member 7.
