To provide a simple shelter suitable for a protective implement for evacuation at the time of disaster, a one-person tent, etc.

This simple shelter 1 is composed of a covering body which is expandably/contractibly formed in a semi-tubular shape by using a lightweight high-strength material. The covering body forms an internal space large enough to allow one person to lie on his/her back, in an expanded state, and has portability which enables the covering body to be carried in a contracted state. The simple shelter comprises: a connecting rod which connects respective frames together by being laid among the plurality of semi-arc-shaped frames arranged in such a manner as to be separated at proper intervals along a longitudinal direction in the expanded state of the covering body; and a heat insulating sheet which is joined to the inside of the frame, and folded/stretched depending on expansion/contraction among the respective frames by the connecting rod. The connecting rod can be bent in a central part, and both ends of the connecting rod are turnably joined to the respective frames and foldably/expandably connected to them. The heat insulating sheet has a four-layer structure wherein a surface of a nonwoven fabric layer is lined with a polyethylene layer, an aluminum-vapor deposition layer and a polyethylene layer in the state of positioning the nonwoven fabric layer inside.
