Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye optical system capable of simulating a retina image of a subject with a transplanted intraocular lens.
SOLUTION: A lens system 31 comprises a photographic lens, an intraocular lens mounting part, etc., and the intraocular lens is held in a water tub equipped in the intraocular lens mounting part. The relative position of the photographic lens and the intraocular lens is selected so that, obtaining the paraxial object distance of the front refracting interface of the intraocular lens when the crystalline lens of the Gullstrand's eyeball model is substituted by the intraocular lens, the paraxial object distance of the intraocular lens to be mounted on the lens system 31 is set to be equal to the formerly obtained paraxial object distance in the case of the Gullstrand's eyeball model. The image of an object 30 imaged by the lens system 31 designed in this way is photographed by a CCD camera 32 and the photographed image is displayed on the display device 33.
