Abstract:
A method for simulating photocatalyst performance according to an embodiment comprises: a step (101) for selecting, as an environmental condition of a room coated with a photocatalyst, at least one selected from the odorant concentration in the room before the room is coated with the photocatalyst, the volume of the room, the number of ventilations performed per unit time in the room, the amount of steam in the room, the temperature of the room, the illuminance of a surface coated with the photocatalyst, and the air velocity near the surface coated with the photocatalyst; a step (102) for setting, as a coating condition of the photocatalyst in the room, at least one selected from the coating surface density of the photocatalyst and the coating area size of the photocatalyst on the basis of the selected environmental condition; and a step (103) for calculating the odorant concentration in the room after the room is coated with the photocatalyst on the basis of the basic performance of the photocatalyst, the environmental condition of the room, and the coating condition of the photocatalyst.
