PURPOSE: To give a target display to trainees by using a computer-controlled video display.
CONSTITUTION: A ceiling-attached type target scene displaying optical projector 22 projects a target scene 23 upon a screen 26. A trainee 28 who operates a weapon 30 fitted with a point-of-aim sensor 32 aims the weapon 30 at a target 34 which is the element of the scene 24. The line of collimation of the weapon is distinguished as a line 36. An electric cable 38 connects the output of the sensor 32 to a computer 40 having a video output monitor 42 and an input keyboard 44 through a system junction 46. Electric power is supplied to the computer 40 and projector 22 from a power source. Cables 48 and 48' connect the control signal output terminal of the computer 40 to the input terminal of the projector 22 through the system junction 46. The computer 40 controls the display of the target scene 24 containing the target 34 and, in addition, the data processing of a point-of-aim detecting system sensor.
