Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact sintered ore cooling machine having high sintered ore cooling efficiency, capable of treating a large amount of sintered ores, having high heat recovery efficiency, and easily collecting dust.SOLUTION: A sintered ore cooling machine 1 is provided with a gas passing portion for storing sintered ores and allowing a gas to pass therethrough on one of side faces of a cooling tank 3, and a part facing to the gas passing portion of the other side face of the cooling tank 3 is a ventilating portion for storing the sintered ores and allowing the air to pass therethrough. A length in the height direction, of a cooling region defined by a region held between the gas passing portion and the ventilating portion is 1/2 or more of the height of the cooling tank 3, the cooling region exists within a range of 1/6 to 1/4 of the height of the cooling tank 3 in thickness, upper ends of both side walls at an inner peripheral side and an outer peripheral side of the cooling tank 3 are positioned at the height of 1.2 times or more of a thickness of the cooling region with respect to the upper end of the cooling region, and the cooling machine includes a suction chamber formation wall 39 forming a suction chamber 5, an intake duct 7 connected to the suction chamber 5, a suction device for sucking a gas in the cooling tank 3, and an exhaust heat recovery unit.
