Abstract:
To provide a sintered sprocket exhibiting durability, without causing practical problems, by restraining abrasion, even in use for a CVT in a severe environment.
This sintered sprocket 1 is provided by quenching the whole after sintering by being formed of an iron-based alloy. A surface layer part up to at least the depth of 1.5 mm from a surface of a tooth part 2 is formed as a structure including no Ni, and hardness of Vickers hardness of 500 Hv0.1 or more is applied to the whole area of the surface layer of its tooth part.
