Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered bearing having high strength and less in variation of dimension or bearing performance in mass production.SOLUTION: Material powder comprising graphite powder and metal powder is molded in a mold, and then the material powder is sintered to obtain a sintered bearing 1, wherein as the graphite powder, granulation powder is used, and a ratio of free graphite on a bearing surface 1a is 25-80% in terms of area ratio. An average particle diameter of the granulation powder is 60-500 μm. Also, a compounding ratio of the granulation powder in the material powder is 3-15 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
