Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an error rate of a reception signal, without increasing an amount of signal streams between a base station and a host device of a base station by allowing the host device of the base station to conduct error correction coding, synthesis and error correction decoding with respect to a mobile terminal system adopting the site diversity reception system.
SOLUTION: A mobile terminal station 1 sends a signal subject to an error correction coding processing and a plurality of base stations 2-1-2-n receive the signal via a ratio channel 8, each of the base stations 2-1-2-n applies error correction decoding processing to the received signal and sends the signal subject to error correction decoding processing to a base station host device 3 via a transmission channel 9, the base station host device 3 applies error correction coding processing to the signal from each of the base stations 2-1-2-n and applies error correction decoding processing to the signal subject to error correction coding processing, after the synthesis processing has been conducted.
