Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject size uniformly sizable inner, middle and outer layer parts of a cheese at a high sizing fraction, containing graft-modified starch adjusted to a specific swollen degree as a main component, by size processing in using a cheese dyeing machine.

CONSTITUTION: This size contains graft-modified starch obtained by graft polymerization of starch raw material such as corn starch or wheat starch with (meth) acrylate, alkyl acrylate, etc., so as to have 1-3.5 swollen degree as a main component. A cheese sizing of the size is performed by utilizing a cheese dyeing machine and inner, middle and outer parts of cheese are uniformly sized, then the sized yarn exhibits excellent strength and elongation, and cohesion force, and an exceeding effect that generations of fuzz are fewer than usual size, etc.
