To provide a ski board improved in running performance by improving the snow surface gripping performance of a portion of the ski board immediately below a ski boot of a ski board during turning and running to improve the operability.
The ski board 1 comprises: a core material made of wood or plastic in which concave portions are formed at two or more sites in the width direction, being spaced apart, at the center in the longitudinal direction of the ski board 1; and reinforcing materials 3 that have nearly the same shape as the concave portions of the core material and are fitted and fixed in the concave portions and are made of a material having a Young's modulus higher than that of the core material. The cross-sectional shape of the reinforcing materials 3 has the major axis in the vertical direction in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the ski board 1. The reinforcing materials 3 are located immediately above the central position 2 of the ski boot of the ski board 1. The single reinforcing material 3 has a length of 1 to 6 mm in the width direction, and the length in the width direction of the ski board 1 occupied by the reinforcing materials 3 does not exceed one third of the width of the ski board 1. The core material and the reinforcing plates 3 of the ski board 1 are secured to each other with an adhesive.
