Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a ski strip which has much improved in toughness and is hardly snapped and if snapped, is not separated at the snapped part but still connected and is safe and further is excellent in feeling of ski and in apperance.

CONSTITUTION: A ski strip 100 is formed by sticking a slender plate-form core member 102 formed of a plywood or urethane, and hardened fiber-reinforced resin layers 104 (104a, 104m, and 104b) provided by laminating on the upper and the lower sides of the core member 102, with a hardening agent and the like, into a formation having an almost rectangular section. And at least one layer 104m of the fiber-reinforced layers 104 is made into a fiber-reinforced prepreg layer which is formed of a fiber-reinforced prepreg 1 including a metallic fiber and a different fiber other than a metallic fiber as the reinforcement fiber.
