Abstract:

To provide a skin care preparation for external use carrying out prophylaxis of skin roughening caused by stress.

This skin care preparation for external use is composed by containing a bi- or a trivalent metal salt. Thereby, the bi- or trivalent metal salt exhibits excellent inhibitory effects on an enzyme activity of a stratum corneum desquamating enzyme activated by substance P and has excellent prophylactic and ameliorating effects on the skin roughening caused by the stress.
