PURPOSE: To provide a skin cosmetic having excellent skin aging-preventing effect and skin-beautifying effect such as rough skin-improving effect, moisture- retaining effect and corneum turnover-accelerating effect by containing a specific far IR light-radiating ceramic powder and a ceramide.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A far IR light-radiating ceramic powder having an electromagnetic wave radiation percent of ≥80% when the electromagnetic radiation amount of a black body at the same temperature is used as a standard in a wave length range of 6-20μm and (B) at least one of ceramide, glucosyl ceramide and galactosyl ceramide are compounded with a skin cosmetic such as a lotion, milky lotion, cream or pack preferably in an A/B ratio of 0.01-20wt.%/0.01-3.0wt.% based on the whole amount of the cosmetic to provide a skin cosmetic wherein the moisture in the skin cells densified with the component B is activated with the far IR light to exhibit the above-mentioned effect. The particle diameter of the powder A is preferably 0.01-20μm.
