Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a skin cosmetic having excellent stability with the passage of days and sebum secretion-suppressing action.
CONSTITUTION: This skin cosmetic contains (A) a carboxylic acid expressed by the formula: R1-(CH2)n-COOH (R1 is a 1-8C alkyl group substituted with OH, n is 1-18) and (B) a 16-22C branched alcohol or a branched fatty acid, or an ester having whole carbon number of 17-50 and a melting point of ≤30°C of a 16-22C branched alcohol or a branched fatty acid.
