To obtain a skin preparation for external use having ceramide synthesis promoting effects, and excellent in moisture retaining effects of skin, manifesting preventing and improving effect to skin disease such as dry and roughing, itching by formulating extract solution of striped bamboo(albo- marginata) and urea and/or an antiinflammatory agent.
This preparation comprises (A) the extract solution of the striped bamboo and (B) urea and/or (C)the antiinflammatory agent. Preferably, 0.05-30% of the ingredient (A), 1-20% of the ingredient (B), and 0.05-10% of the ingredient (C) based on the total preparation composition are compounded. The extract solution extracted by 30-70% of aqueous solution of ethanol is preferably used as the ingredient (A). Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate and stearyl glycyrrhizinate is preferred as the ingredient (C). Oily components such as fats and oils are capable of formulating to enhance the moisture retaining effects besides principal ingredients. The preferable amount of the fats and oils is 0-99%. Surfactant is preferably formulated to improve the sticky feeling of the fats and oils allowing them to emulsify or solubilize.
