Abstract:
To provide a slag fuming method where, from slag produced from a refining furnace for zinc and/or lead refining, dust comprising zinc and lead and having the low contents of arsenic and antimony, and slag capable of stably satisfying soil environmental standards can be obtained.
In the slag fuming method where, from slag produced from a refining furnace for zinc and/or lead refining, zinc and lead are volatilized and separated, e.g., as a copper source, at least one kind of copper-containing raw material selected from refined intermediates and scraps is added to the slag, and thereafter, fuming is performed, so as to form a uniform fused body of a Cu-Fe-Pb-As based copper alloy.
