Abstract:
To provide a method of molten slag discharge, in which the state of molten slag is maintained by easily melting slag in a preceding furnace before the slag hole, or in a slag runner, in case of slag-discharge in the initial time and in the repeated discharge.
The internal periphery of a slag runner 4a is made of a graphite block 6 in a part from the main body of the furnace 2 to a slag hole 4. An induction coil 8 is provided to heat inductively the black graphite block 6.
