Abstract:
To provide a slate polishing device capable of polishing a front layer of a wavy slate more accurately and also capable of suppressing scattering of dust generated in polishing.SOLUTION: A polishing device includes: a brush member 22 that vertically rotates around a predetermined axial line m10 with respect to a surface of a slate to polish a front layer of the slate; and a cover 60 provided so as to surround a periphery of the brush member 22.
