PURPOSE: To make it possible to move forks in both right and left directions by means of one cylinder in the title device in a loading machine by disposing a hydraulic cylinder between the center of the fork moving directions and the center of a base in such a way that it can be selectively oscillated vertically and to the right and left.

CONSTITUTION: An inclining piece 11 is protruded on the upper or lower side by actuating an inclining device 1. For example, if an inclining piece 11 on the lower side is protruded, a hydraulic cylinder 5 is pushed to the left to be inclined as illustrated by solid lines. By elongating the hydraulic cylinder simultaneously with this action, a middle fork 2 and a rear fork 3 are pushed to the left. The inclining piece 11 retreats immediately after protruding them for a predetermined quantity. If the rod of the hydraulic cylinder is contracted, the fork 2, 3 retreat. By this constitution, forks can be moved to the right and left by one hydraulic cylinder.
