To provide a slide switch disposing a movable armature to elastically contact on a fixed armature and reducing the abrasion between the movable armature and the fixed armature by vertically moving the movable armature by the sliding of a changeover element on a recess/projection part provided in a case by interlocked with the operation of a knob.

This slide switch comprises the slide-operating knob 2, a case A6 composed of an insulating member disposed of, at least, two or more fixed armatures 8, and a case cover 1. The switch body is formed with a regulating recess/projection part 6b in its inside, the knob 2 is disposed with the changeover element 4 fixing the movable armature 5 via a coil spring in its lower surface, and the changeover element 4 is elastically disposed on the regulating recess/ projection part 6b.
