To provide a sliding contact switch mechanism in which deterioration in detection accuracy can be prevented because the contact of a fixed contact member does not shift easily, and a motor comprising that mechanism.
The motor comprises a motor body generating a rotating force, a gear housing and a gear cover 13 for containing a worm wheel transmitting the rotating force of the motor body, movable contacts provided to rotate integrally with the worm wheel while having a specified pattern, and first through third fixed contact members 21-23 where supporting parts 21a-23a are supported on the gear cover 13 and contact parts 21c-23c, formed at the forward end of lever parts 21b-23b extending from the supporting parts 21a-23a, abut against the movable contacts slidably. The supporting parts 21a-23a are disposed closer to the advancing direction of the movable contacts than the contact parts 21c-23c. Positions of the contact parts 21c-23c and the supporting parts 21a-23a are set on a line parallel with the tangential direction of the worm wheel at the angular position of the contact parts 21c-23c.
