To provide a swash-plate type compressor capable of exerting good seizing resistance even under severe sliding conditions.
The present invention relates to a swash-plate type compressor provided with a swash plate (60) oscillating and rotating with the rotation of the main shaft, a piston (14) reciprocating within a cylinder bore due to the oscillation of the swash plate, and a pair of shoe (76) that is interposed on the joint between the swash plate and the piston. A sliding coating film is formed on the surface of the swash plate and/or the shoes. The sliding film contains a solid lubricant, a binder resin that retains the solid lubricant, and a low-melting-point material having a melting point lower than the glass transition temperature of the binder resin. The latent heat of the low-melting-point material absorbs heat generated upon seizing, thereby retarding the degradation of the binder resin. As a result, high seizure resistance can be obtained.
