Title:
SLIDING MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3184462
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sliding member having a small frictional coefficient, and excellent in abrasion resistance and endurance by combining a sliding body having a halogenation-treated nitrile rubber surface with a specific Ni-P complex-plated sliding surface on which the sliding body slides.
SOLUTION: This sliding member consists of a combination of a sliding body 12 having a halogenation-treated nitrile rubber surface with a sliding surface 11 dispersed with a polyfluoroethylene, boron nitride or a fluorinated graphite and plated with a specific Ni-P complex and on which the sliding body 12 slides. Further, the Ni-P complex plating applied on the sliding surface 11 is preferably heat-treated at 330°C temperature, and also it is preferable that the sliding body 12 is a piston packing fitted into a piston, and the sliding surface 11 is the internal wall surface of a cylinder.
