To facilitate the manufacture of a shift fork so as to reduce costs by assembling a leaf spring in the resin plate main body of a sliding plate, the leaf spring being pressed into a notched loading part provided in the shift fork for preventing the plate main body form being pulled out from the shift fork.
A sliding plate 11 loaded in both ends of the circular-arc part 2 T-shaped in section of a shift fork 1 is constructed by assembling a leaf spring 21 in a plate main body 12 made of a resin, the leaf spring being pressed into a notched loading part 5 provided in the thin part 3 of the circular-arc part 2. This resin plate main body 12 has a window-like engaging part 16 provided in a pair of flat surfaces 14 integrally formed in both sides of a sliding surface part 13 and a triangular projecting holding part 18 integrally provided toward the leaf spring 21. On the other hand, the leaf spring 21 is elastically deformed so as to bend a roughly rectangular flat plate three-dimensionally and change its width w2, and the pressing-in of a sliding plate 11 is performed by elastically narrowing the width w2 of the leaf spring 21 and pushing it in to the loading part 5.
