Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ruler for cutting which is convenient and excellent in workability in order to solve the problem that when an article to be cut such as a timber is cut by a cutter (circular saw), in the case of a long cutting area, a long ruler has been used, however, a worker is hard to work with the long ruler, and its carrying and storage are inconvenient as well.
SOLUTION: A ruler section is made stretchable by a sliding method, and this sliding type ruler for cutting is constituted in such a manner that an article to be cut can be cut either in a lateral direction or a vertical direction.
