Abstract:

To treat sludge water generated in a water treatment system using a liquid cyclone.

A sludge thickener tank includes a separation tank, a sludge inlet, a concentrated sludge outlet, and a treated water outlet. The separation tank includes a cylindrical body section and a concentration section of a funnel shape connected with the base of the body section, and separate the entered sludge water into concentrated sludge and treated water. The sludge inlet is provided on a side of the body section so that the entering sludge water circles in the separation tank. The concentrated sludge outlet is provided on the bottom of the concentration section, and discharges the concentrated sludge precipitated in the separation tank. The treated water outlet is provided inside or on a top surface of the body section, and discharges the treated water obtained through precipitation of the concentrated sludge.
