Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snap fastener which can achieve weight saving, reduce cost, and improve appearance by expanding a selection range of colors.SOLUTION: A snap fastener D comprises: an eyelet 1 having a flange 1a at one end; a male engaging member 2 in which a central through hole H is formed at the central portion; and a base member 3 which has a through hole h formed so as to communicate with the central through hole H, an engaging recessed part A at the central portion, into which the male engaging member 2 can be fitted, and a sewing hole 5 formed at an outer peripheral portion 3a to sew into a fabric. In a state of coaxially inserting the eyelet 1 into the through hole h and the central through hole H, the male engaging member 2 is fixed and installed in the engaging recessed part A by striking and caulking another end F' side of the eyelet 1. The male engaging member 2 is made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material whose color can be selected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
