To make it easy to fix or replace a snow guard angle member by using a stop that holds the angle member as a metal fitting for securing the snow guard angle member to the top of a roof.

A base 4 formed by curving of a long metallic piece 1 is welded to a support member 3, and a bolt 9 is passed through both a bolt hole provided in the vertical piece of the support member 3 and a loose hole in the lower part of an angle stop A. The arched part 10 of the base 4 is fitted to a curved part at the upper end of a lower-stage roof board, its end 1b screwed to a rafter located on an upper-stage roof board. The angle stop A is rotated and moved away by loosening of the bolt 9, and an angle member B is placed on the corner of the support member 3, is held by the angle stop A, and fixed into place by tightening the bolt 9. Thus the angle member B can be installed and removed easily.
