Abstract:
To provide a snow melting apparatus capable of achieving snow-melting and antifreezing effects of the same level as that when using a single flat heating element, while reducing power consumption.
First and second flat heating parts 1a, 1b are provided for alternately switching between a high-temperature heating state and a low-temperature heating state at short intervals. The high-temperature heating state of each of the plane heat generating parts 1a, 1b is thereby retained as long as possible. This reduces power consumption as compared with the case of supplying power evenly to the entire flat heating element 1, without lowering the snow-melting effect and the road-surface antifreezing effect.
