Abstract:

To provide a sock having excellent fit feeling, prevented from sliding down when worn, and eliminating bulkiness at a wearing opening through using no elastic yarn to form its opening so as to soften tightening feeling.

The sock has a first wearing opening part 1 knitted downward from a knit-starting part to be formed into an appropriate-length Indian knit using woolly nylon yarn, and a second wearing opening part 2 following the first wearing opening part 1 and knitted into Indian knit having such a length as to appropriately exceed the length of the first wearing opening part using cotton yarn or cotton blended yarn; integrally knitting the knit-starting part (a) of the first wearing opening part into the rear surface of the knit-closing part b so as to form a wearing opening 4 into an inner/outer double bag state where the first wearing opening part is provided at its inner side and an opening edge part 5 comprises the folded-back part of the second wearing opening part.
