Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a food good in taste and capable of suppressing defecation odor and halitosis in a food comprising sodium iron chlorophyllin.
SOLUTION: This food comprising the sodium iron chloriphyllin is obtained by formulating 0.1-15 wt.% of the sodium iron chlorophyllin and 10-50 wt.% of a plant extract essence which is preferably one or more kinds selected from a tamarind, toasted tea, a yucca, a champignon, green tea, Astragali Radix tea, a fruit of Rosa roxburghii Tratt., Glycyrrhizae Radix and a lemon balm.
