Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a damage accident in a battery main unit by automatically cutting off an electric circuit to avoid an overcharge thereafter due to a dynamic current even in the case of rarely generating a fault of solid electrolyte pipe damage or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A battery in which a parallel bypass circuit, conducted by a temperature rise at the time of generating a fault in the battery, is provided between positive and negative electrodes further arranging a heating resistor 6 for melting and cutting a temperature fuse 5, provided in a negative electrode terminal 3, by heat generation, at the time of occurrence of accident, in this bypass circuit.
