Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate a fear of decreasing a commodity value due to the damage of a fruit to be packaged when using a buffer material of a case packaging of the fruit by providing many through holes which pass from one surface to the other of a soft foam base material in a recess provided at least one surface of the material.
CONSTITUTION: Pressing jigs 5, 5, in which many protruding pressed parts 4 are provided on the surface are rotated, soft foamed base material 1a is supplied between the jigs 5, 5, and hence the material 1a is strongly pressed by the parts 4. The pressing by the parts 4 remains at the material 1a immediately after the pressing by the parts 4 is released, the part which is particularly strongly pressed is thinned to be formed in a film state. It is torn when it is restored agingly in an initial shape before pressing, and through holes 2 are formed. Thus, a foam 1 having excellent buffer performance and provided with the holes 2 in many recesses 3 is obtained.
